where one of the float planes drop you off to set up camp on your
own private island far from civilization. The ultimate
do-it-all-yourself fishing vacation is a reality. Just bring the
groceries and a keen sense of adventure and everything else is
provided, including the boat, motor with unlimited gas, fire pits,
cooking tools, and tents to name just a few. Perhaps you want to
have the greatest winter holiday and enjoy ice-fishing, crisp clean
air that only the true north can offer, dog-sledding, and
snowmobiling. The hot tub is extremely refreshing in the winter, and

World record fishing
Lake Athapapuskow is the only fresh water lake to claim three world
records for two species of fish. Master Angler Northern Pike,
world record Lake Trout, and trophy Walleye await the amateur
and expert alike wanting to experience the ultimate fishing trip in
Canada. A Lake Trout over 62 lbs was caught and held the world
record for over 40 years. A 44lb Trout was caught on a 6lb line,
still a world record. The fighting Northern Pike are pulled out at
over 40” on a regular basis. There have even been 28” Master Angler
Walleye on catch and release. 22” Whitefish are reeled in for the
Master Angler trying their hand at other species. Whatever sport
